RESIDENTIAL TENANCIES ACT 1997 - SECT 142M

Termination after notice

A residency right in respect of a room ends if—

        (a)     the resident vacates the room after giving a notice of intention to vacate to the rooming house operator; or

        (b)     the resident vacates the room after being given a notice to vacate.
