VEXATIOUS PROCEEDINGS ACT 2014 - SECT 66

No notice of application to be given without direction or order

    (1)     Despite anything to the contrary in any other Act or rules of court, a person who makes an application for leave to apply to vary or revoke a litigation restraint order must not give notice of the application for leave unless a Court or VCAT makes an order in relation to the notification of persons.

    (2)     Despite anything to the contrary in any other Act or rules of court, a person who makes an application to vary or revoke a litigation restraint order must not give notice of the application unless a Court or VCAT—

        (a)     otherwise directs the applicant under section 67 or 68; or

        (b)     makes an order in relation to the notification of persons.
