Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) Where a worker is employed by the Crown in right of the State of Victoria or by any Government Department of the State of Victoria or by any public statutory body constituted by or under the law of Victoria then, if personal injury is caused to such a worker outside Victoria under such circumstances that if the injury had occurred in Victoria he or his dependants would have been entitled to compensation under this Act, the worker and, in the case of the death of the worker, his dependants shall subject to this Act be entitled to compensation in accordance with this Act.
(2) Where a worker employed by the Crown in right of the State of Victoria or by any Government Department of the State of Victoria or by any public statutory body constituted by or under the law of Victoria is directed to work for or under the direction of any other person outside Victoria the Crown Government Department or public statutory body by which he was so directed shall for the purposes of this Act be deemed to continue to be the employer of that worker while he is working under that direction.
