The functions of ACCS are—
S. 522(a) amended by No. 15/2021 s. 37(a).
(a) to provide independent conciliation and arbitration services for the purposes of this Act and the Accident Compensation Act 1985 ; and
S. 522(b) amended by No. 15/2021 s. 37(b).
(b) to ensure that conciliations and arbitrations are conducted by ACCS in an expeditious and consistent manner; and
(c) to ensure that ACCS and its employees, contractors and agents operate in a transparent and accountable manner; and
(d) to monitor and manage the performance of ACCS and its employees, contractors and agents; and
(e) to ensure that ACCS and its employees, contractors and agents comply with the policies and procedures of ACCS and with any guidelines made by the Minister; and
(f) to carry out any other functions conferred on ACCS by or under this Act.
