ROAD SAFETY (VEHICLES) REGULATIONS 2009 - REG 213

Action on expiry, surrender, suspension or cancellation of tester's licence

Reg. 213(1) amended by S.R. No. 172/2019 reg. 9(Sch. 5 item 133).

    (1)     If the licence of a person to whom a tester's licence was issued—

        (a)     expires without renewal; or

        (b)     is surrendered by the person; or

        (c)     is suspended or cancelled

the person must, if required by the Secretary or an authorised officer, return all books, unused forms and documents given to the person by the Secretary for the licence.

Penalty:     2 penalty units.

    (2)     If a person returns books, unused forms and documents in accordance with a request under subregulation (1), the Secretary must refund the fee paid by the person for each unused certificate of roadworthiness and test report form returned.
