        1.     General Information

The Sale of Land (Public Auctions) Regulations 2014, S.R. No. 73/2014 were made on 24 June 2014 by the Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council under section 48 of the Sale of Land Act 1962, No. 6975/1962 and came into operation on 1 October 2014: regulation 3.

The Sale of Land (Public Auctions) Regulations 2014 will sunset 10 years after the day of making on 24 June 2024 (see section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994).
