GUARDIANSHIP AND ADMINISTRATION ACT 2019 (NO. 13 OF 2019) - SECT 158

Effect of first instance order pending rehearing

    (1)     Subject to subsection (2), the making of an application for a rehearing—

        (a)     does not affect the operation of any order to which the application relates; and

        (b)     does not prevent the taking of action to enforce any order to which the application relates.

    (2)     VCAT may make an order staying the operation of an order pending the determination of the application for a rehearing to which the order relates.
