A supportive guardian under a supportive guardianship order or a supportive administrator under a supportive administration order—
(a) must act in accordance with the general principles set out in section 8 ; and
(b) must act honestly, diligently and in good faith; and
(c) must exercise reasonable skill and care; and
(d) must not use the position for profit; and
(e) must avoid acting when there is or may be a conflict of interest and, if acting when there is a conflict of interest, must ensure that the interests of the supported person are the primary consideration; and
(f) must discuss anything relating to a supported decision with the supported person in a way that the supported person can understand and that will assist the supported person to make the decision; and
(g) must not assist the supported person, in the role of supportive guardian or supportive administrator (as the case requires), to conduct any illegal activity; and
(h) must not coerce, intimidate or in any way unduly influence the supported person into a particular course of action.
