FISHERIES REGULATIONS 2009 (SR NO 2 OF 2009) - REG 150

Restrictions on use of commercial fishing equipment in Cunninghame Arm

    (1)     The licence holder must not, in or on Cunninghame Arm, use any commercial fishing equipment other than—

        (a)     up to 10 crab pots, as long as he or she is in attendance of the crab pots at all times; or

        (b)     a seine net not exceeding 732 metres in length.

    (2)     The fishing equipment referred to in subregulation (1) may only be used in or on Cunninghame Arm—

        (a)     during the period commencing on 1 May and ending on 30 November in each year; and

        (b)     on a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday during the period commencing 1 hour after sunset and ending at sunrise on the following day.
