FISHERIES REGULATIONS 2009 (SR NO 2 OF 2009) - REG 27

Eligibility criterion for issue, renewal or transfer of access licence

The eligibilty criterion that the following persons must satisfy is that the person must have a thorough knowledge of the provisions of the Act and these Regulations that are relevant to the particular fishery in respect of which the person is licensed or to be licensed to operate—

        (a)     an applicant for the issue or renewal of an access licence;

        (b)     the proposed transferee of an access licence.
