SUPREME COURT (CHAPTER I SUMMARY JUDGMENT AMENDMENT) RULES 2015 (SR NO 29 OF 2015) - REG 5

    (1)     Rule 23.01(1)(a) of the Supreme Court (General Civil Procedure) Rules 2005 is revoked .

    (2)     For Rule 23.01(2) of the Supreme Court (General Civil Procedure) Rules 2005 substitute —

    "(2)     Where the defence to any claim in a proceeding is scandalous, frivolous or vexatious, the Court may give judgment in the proceeding generally or in relation to any claim.".
