TRANSPORT (TICKETING AND CONDUCT) REGULATIONS 2005 (SR NO 69 OF 2005) - REG 13

Occupying unreserved seats

r. 13

A person must cease occupying an unreserved seat on a rail vehicle, road vehicle or rail premises in addition to the seat in which he or she is sitting if requested by another person or an authorised person to make the seat available for sitting.

Penalty:     5 penalty units.
