Delegation

176. Delegation



(1) The Commission, by instrument, may delegate to the Commissioner or a
member of staff of the Commission any of the Commission's powers, functions or
duties under this Act other than this power of delegation.

(2) The Board, by instrument, may delegate any of the Board's powers,
functions or duties under this Act, other than this power of delegation-

   (a)  to an appointed member of the Board; or



   (b)  to the members of a sub-committee of the Board; or

Note A public entity may form sub-committees under section 83 of the
Public Administration Act 2004.

   (c)  to the Commissioner.

(3) The Commissioner, by instrument, may delegate to a member of staff of the
Commission any of the Commissioner's powers, functions or duties under this
Act other than this power of delegation.
