219. Current investigations and inquiries



(1) Any matter that is under investigation by the Commission under section 41
of the old Act must continue to be dealt with according to the old Act, as if-

   (a)  the old Act had not been repealed; and

   (b)  a reference in the old Act to the Board were a reference to the
        Tribunal.

(2) Any matter that has been referred to the Board under section 42 of the old
Act but has not been finally determined must continue to be dealt with
according to the old Act, as if-

   (a)  the old Act had not been repealed; and

   (b)  a reference in the old Act to the Board were a reference to the
        Tribunal.

(3) For the purpose of making an order in any inquiry of the Tribunal that had
commenced before the Board, the Tribunal may take into account any evidence
that had been given to the Board before the commencement of this section.
