Outbreaks of prescribed infectious diseases in primary schools A person in charge of a primary school may direct that a child enrolled at the school not attend the school if he or she believes the child is not immunised against a prescribed infectious disease and- (a) the person in charge of the school reasonably believes that there is an outbreak of that disease at that school; or (b) a medical officer of health has advised the person in charge of the school that he or she reasonably believes that there is an outbreak of that disease in the community in which the school is situated. _______________ * * * * * _______________
