(1) A statutory
manager of an incorporated association —
(a) must
report to the Commissioner on the affairs of the association as directed by
the Commissioner; and
(b) may
at any time on the statutory manager’s own initiative report to the
Commissioner on those affairs.
Penalty for an offence under subsection (1)(a): a
fine of $10 000.
(2) After the
revocation of a statutory manager’s appointment, the person who held the
office —
(a)
must, as soon as is practicable, make a final report to the Commissioner on
the affairs of the association; and
(b)
must, give a copy of the final report to the incorporated association.
Penalty: a fine of $10 000.
(3) The Commissioner
may, after considering a report under subsection (2), refer any matter back to
the person for further consideration and report to the Commissioner.
(4) For the purposes
of subsections (2) and (3) the person who held the office has access to the
books of the incorporated association concerned whenever necessary.
(5) The person must
report to the Commissioner as required under subsection (3).
Penalty for an offence under subsection (5): a
fine of $10 000.
