(1) A prosecution for
an offence against this Act may be commenced by the Commissioner or by a
person authorised in writing by the Commissioner to do so.
(2) Subsection (1)
does not limit the ability of a person to commence a prosecution for an
offence if the person has authority at law to do so.
(3) In proceedings for
an offence against this Act, unless evidence is given to the contrary, proof
is not required —
(a) that
the prosecutor is authorised to commence the prosecution; or
(b) that
a signature on a prosecution notice is the signature of a person authorised to
commence the prosecution.
