new requirement means a requirement of section 22.
(2) To allow time for
an existing incorporated association to ensure that its rules comply with a
new requirement, the requirement does not apply to an existing incorporated
association until the expiry of —
(a) 3
years after the commencement day; or
(b) such
longer period as the Commissioner may, on application made by the association,
from time to time allow in writing.
(3) To allow time for
an incorporated association to which section 190 applies to ensure that its
rules comply with a new requirement, the requirement does not apply to the
association until —
(a) the
expiry of 3 years after the incorporation of the association or the
commencement of section 22, whichever is the later; or
(b) such
longer period as the Commissioner may, on application made by the association,
from time to time allow in writing.
