(1) No elector shall
at any election be required to answer any question or to make any declaration,
except as herein provided.
(2) No person claiming
to vote at any election shall be excluded from voting thereat except by reason
of —
(a) it
appearing to the presiding officer, upon putting the questions hereinbefore
prescribed, or any of them —
(i)
that he is not the person whose name appears on the roll;
or
(ii)
that he has previously voted for the whole of State
electorate or the district, as the case may be, at the same election; or
(iii)
that he is otherwise not entitled to vote under this Act;
or
(b) such
person refusing to answer any of such questions, or to make the declaration
required under sections 119 and 122.
