Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) Subject to
subsection (2), the date fixed as the last day for the nomination of
candidates shall be not less than 7 nor more than 45 days after the date of
the writ.
(2) In the case of a
periodic election the date fixed as the last day for the nomination of
candidates shall be the second Friday next following the date of the writ.
