Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) The Collector of
Maintenance or an assistant collector of maintenance may, on behalf of a child
—
(a)
institute and conduct proceedings with respect to the maintenance of the
child; and
(b)
institute and conduct proceedings for the purpose of enforcing a child
maintenance order made with respect to the child.
(2) Proceedings
instituted on behalf of a child under subsection (1) are to be treated, for
the purposes of section 185 and the provisions referred to in it, as having
been instituted by the child.
