(1) The Board may
appoint such employees of Gold Corporation, either full-time or part-time, as
the Board considers necessary for the purposes of this Act.
(2) The Board shall
provide and make available to the Mint and to GoldCorp such employees of Gold
Corporation and such facilities as the Board considers necessary for the
efficient conduct of their businesses.
(3) Subject to any
relevant order, award or agreement to be made under the
Industrial Relations Act 1979 , the Board may determine the remuneration and
other terms and conditions of service of Gold Corporation employees.
(4) Gold Corporation
is not part of the Public Service under the Public Sector Management Act 1994
2 nor a public authority for the purposes of Division 2 of Part IIA of the
Industrial Relations Act 1979 .
(5) The Board may
appoint such employees of Gold Corporation outside Western Australia as the
Board considers necessary for the purposes of this Act and may determine the
remuneration and other terms and conditions of service of such employees.
(6) Gold Corporation
may engage under contract for services such professional, technical or other
assistance as it considers necessary.
