(1) If an interest in
land designated for the purpose of a public work is subject to a management
order, the Minister may authorise the management body to sell or to contract
to sell and remove any timber, stone, mineral, metal, or other substance upon
or under the land, to the extent of the interest, for the work or for another
public work.
(2) This section does
not limit the liability of the management body for damage to persons or
property by reason of the removal of the timber, stone, mineral, metal, or
other substance.
