Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts If the purchase price
of an interest in land in respect of which compensation is payable or awarded
was at the date of taking being paid by instalments, the compensation or so
much of it as is required for the purpose, upon the application of the vendor,
is to be paid in discharge —
(a) of
the balance of the purchase price owing; and
(b) of
interest, if any, payable in respect of the purchase price up to the amount of
interest accrued during the period of 12 months commencing on the day after
the date of taking.
