(1) A regulation made
under this Act may adopt the text of any code, rules, specifications or
standard issued by the Standards Association of Australia or by such other
body as is specified in the regulation.
(2) A regulation
prescribing fees payable on application to the Board of Valuers may adopt the
text of all or any of the maximum amount of remuneration fixed under
section 25 of the Land Valuers Licensing Act 1978 for the various kinds of
services rendered by licensed valuers and those maximum amounts of
remuneration, if so adopted, are to be taken to be fees prescribed as fees
payable on application to the Board of Valuers.
(3) The text may be
adopted —
(a)
wholly or in part;
(b) as
modified by the regulations;
(c) as
it exists at a particular date or as amended from time to time.
(4) The adoption may
be direct, by reference made in the regulation, or indirect, by reference made
in any text that is itself directly or indirectly adopted.
