(1) A person may, with
the leave of the Court and in accordance with the terms of the leave, request
the Principal Registrar to provide the person with a copy of a will deposited
in the office of the Principal Registrar under section 44, and the Principal
Registrar must comply with a request so made.
(2) The Court may, on
the application of any person, grant leave to the person for the purposes of
subsection (1) on such terms as it thinks fit, but only if —
(a) the
Court is satisfied that adequate steps have been taken to allow all persons
with a legitimate interest in the application to be represented in the
proceedings; and
(b) it
appears to the Court to be necessary or desirable for the proper carrying out
of the provisions of the will that leave be granted.
