SCHOOL EDUCATION REGULATIONS 2000 - REG 113

113 .         Functions prescribed that Minister may approve for incorporated Council (Act s. 130(1))

                The functions of a Council for a school prescribed for the purposes of section 130(1) are as follows —

            (a)         to obtain funds for the benefit of the school;

            (b)         to employ persons other than a person referred to in section 235(1);

            (c)         to manage or operate facilities at the school.

        Examples:

•         a canteen

•                 a swimming pool

•                 residential accommodation for students

•                 a school farm or horticultural centre
