If, before the
commencement of the Act, the chief executive officer had received 2 or more
reports that a teacher is inefficient —
(a) the
chief executive officer and the Minister may exercise their respective powers
under regulation 86A of the Education Regulations 1960 in relation
to the teacher as if that regulation had not been repealed; and
(b) that
regulation otherwise applies in relation to the teacher as if it had not been
repealed.
