(1) In proceedings
under this Act in which a document issued to a party has to be
proved —
(a) the
party is to be taken to have received notice to produce the document; and
(b) the
document may be proved by the production of a copy of the original document,
certified by a person authorised to issue the original as a true copy of the
original; and
(c) due
service of the document may be proved by the certification of the person
authorised to issue the original document that the original was given on the
date specified in the certificate.
(2) The validity of
any document or of its due service is not affected by any error,
misdescription or irregularity which does not mislead or which is not likely
to mislead.
