(1) Except in the
circumstances referred to in Schedule 1 clause 9(a) or (b), a person must
not —
(a)
refuse to make a long-stay agreement with an individual on the grounds that it
is intended that a child will live on the agreed premises; or
(b)
advertise, or otherwise indicate an intention, to refuse to make a long-stay
agreement with an individual on those grounds.
(2) Except in the
circumstances referred to in Schedule 1 clause 9(a) or (b), a
person must not instruct anyone else —
(a) to
refuse to make a long-stay agreement with an individual on the grounds that it
is intended that a child will live on the agreed premises; or
(b) to
advertise, or otherwise indicate an intention, to refuse to make a long-stay
agreement with an individual on that ground.
Penalty: a fine of $5 000.
