(1) Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table

commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with

column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect

according to its terms.

8 Review of amendments
1
(1)
The Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security must
2
review the operation and effectiveness of the amendments made by this
3
Schedule.
4
(2)
The Committee must:
5
(a) begin the review before the end of the period of 2 years
6
beginning on the day on which this Schedule commences;
7
and
8
(b) report the Committee's comments and recommendations to
9
each House of the Parliament as soon as practicable after
10
completing the review.
