An Act to amend the Sydney Olympic Park Authority Act 2001 to enable certain land in the
Millennium Parklands to be acquired for the purposes of the Hill Road upgrade.

The Legislature of New South Wales enacts--
  1   Name of Act
             This Act is the Sydney Olympic Park Authority Amendment (Hill Road Upgrade) Act
             2023.
  2   Commencement
             This Act commences on the date of assent to this Act.

Schedule 1             Amendment of Sydney Olympic Park Authority
                       Act 2001 No 57
[1]   Section 37A
      Insert after section 37--
      37A    Special provisions for Hill Road upgrade
             (1)   This section applies to land shown edged heavy black on the Hill Road
                   Upgrade Map in Schedule 5 (the Hill Road upgrade land).
             (2)   Section 31 does not apply to the Hill Road upgrade land.
             (3)   The Hill Road upgrade land ceases to be part of the Millennium Parklands if
                   the land is sold, disposed of or compulsorily acquired.
             (4)   A plan of management does not prevent works for the purposes of upgrading
                   Hill Road and ancillary activities being carried out on the Hill Road upgrade
                   land.
