DISTRICT COURT ACT 1973 - SECT 11
Single Judge to constitute the Court
(1) All civil and criminal proceedings in the Court, and all business arising
out of any such proceedings, shall, subject to this Act and the Jury Act 1977
, be heard and disposed of before a Judge, who shall constitute the Court.
(2) Subsection (1) does not affect the provisions of this Act and the civil or
criminal procedure rules concerning the hearing and disposal of civil and
criminal proceedings and business before a registrar or other officer of
the Court.
