Counting of votes for majority resolution
107 Counting of votes for majority resolution
(1) This section applies if a motion is to be decided by majority resolution
at a general meeting of the body corporate for a community titles scheme.
(2)
One vote only may be exercised for each lot included in the scheme.
(3) The
vote— (a) must be written; and
(b) can not be exercised by proxy.
(4) The
motion is passed by majority resolution only if the votes counted for the
motion are more than 50% of the lots for which persons are entitled to vote on
the motion.
