South Australian Current Acts South Australian Current Acts174B—Further offence for continued parking contravention
If a person is guilty of an offence by reason of a vehicle being parked in
contravention of a prescribed provision of this Act, the person is guilty of a
further offence—
(a) in
the case of an offence of being parked for longer than a permitted period of
one or more hours—for each hour that the vehicle is parked continuously
in the area or length of road in question in contravention of the provision;
or
(b) in
the case of an offence of being parked for longer than a permitted period of
less than one hour—for each such period that the vehicle is parked
continuously in the area or length or road in question in contravention of the
provision; or
(c) in
any other case—for each hour that the contravention continues.
Maximum penalty: $500.
