(1) The Governor may make regulations for or with respect to (a) regulating and prohibiting the possession, manufacture, sale, supply, or use of dangerous poisons, either absolutely or except in such circumstances, or subject to such conditions, as may be prescribed; and(b) the precautions to be taken in, or in connection with, the regulation and control of the manufacture, storage, use, distribution, or handling of any such poisons.(2) A person who is guilty of an offence against a regulation made for the purposes of this section is liable to a fine not exceeding 20 penalty units or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months, or to both.
