RACING (BOOKMAKER BETTING) REGULATIONS 2015 (S.R. 2015, NO. 105) - REG 47
Sports bets not affected by postponements, &c., if relevant contingencies concluded
The abandonment or postponement of a relevant event does not affect or nullify
sports bets made in respect of contingencies in that event that have been
concluded before the abandonment or postponement is officially announced.
Example 1
A bet that a particular player will win the first set of a tennis
match where the match is abandoned after the first set because of rain.
Example 2
A bet that a batter will make a century in a cricket match where the
match is abandoned after the batter's innings because of poor light.
Example 3
A bet that a particular yacht will be first to round a mark in a yacht race
that is postponed, because of light winds, after the mark has been rounded
legitimately by any yacht in the race.
