EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 2011 (NO. 56 OF 2011) - SECT 1

The purpose of this Act is to—

        (a)     amend the Country Fire Authority Act 1958 and the Emergency Management Act 1986 to implement recommendations of the Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission;

        (b)     amend the Emergency Management Act 1986 , the Fire Services Commissioner Act 2010 and the Victoria State Emergency Service Act 2005 to improve the operation of those Acts;

        (c)     consequentially amend certain other Acts.
