Victorian Numbered Acts Victorian Numbered Acts(1) The Governor in Council may suspend or remove the Principal Public Interest Monitor or a Deputy Public Interest Monitor from office on any ground on which the Governor in Council is satisfied that the Public Interest Monitor is unfit to hold office.
(2) If the Principal Public Interest Monitor or a Deputy Public Interest Monitor is suspended from office under subsection (1), he or she is taken not to be the Principal Public Interest Monitor or a Deputy Public Interest Monitor (as the case requires) during the period of suspension.
