Victorian Numbered Acts Victorian Numbered Acts(1) If an authorised officer or independent investigator seizes a document at a premises under this Part and retains it, the authorised officer or independent investigator, within 21 days of the seizure, must give a certified copy of the document to the occupier of the premises from which it was taken.
(2) The certified copy is to be received in all courts and tribunals as evidence of equal validity to the original document.
