SOCIAL SERVICES REGULATION ACT 2021 (NO. 37 OF 2021) - SECT 273

What can VCAT order?

    (1)     In considering an application under section 272 , VCAT may—

        (a)     determine whether or not the notice to vacate is valid; or

        (b)     dismiss the application.

    (2)     If VCAT determines that the notice to vacate is valid, VCAT—

        (a)     must confirm the notice to vacate; and

        (b)     may issue an order to vacate.

    (3)     If VCAT determines that the notice to vacate is not valid, the notice to vacate ceases to have any effect.
