LIQUOR ACT 2010 - SECT 118

Offence—child or young person supply liquor—licensee or permit-holder

    (1)     A person commits an offence if—

        (a)     the person is a licensee; and

        (b)     the person employs a child or young person; and

        (c)     the child or young person supplies liquor; and

        (d)     the liquor is supplied in an adults-only area of the licensed premises.

Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.

Note     Supply includes sell (see dict).

    (2)     A person commits an offence if—

        (a)     the person is a permit-holder; and

        (b)     the person employs a child or young person; and

        (c)     the child or young person supplies liquor; and

        (d)     the liquor is supplied in an adults-only area of the permitted premises.

Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.

    (3)     An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
