NORTHERN TERRITORY (SELF-GOVERNMENT) ACT 1978 - SECT 48

                   It is lawful for the Auditor-General for the Commonwealth to accept appointment as auditor under any enactment relating to the audit of the accounts of the Territory or the audit of the accounts of a body corporate established for a public purpose by or under any other enactment.
