(a) a radiocommunication system that is installed in, or carried on, an aircraft during flight time in the aircraft and when the aircraft is on the ground; and
(b) a radiocommunication system used in connection with aircraft.
Note: Regulation 83 prohibits a person from transmitting on a
radio frequency used for the purpose of ensuring the safety of air navigation
without being qualified to do so. A person is qualified to do so if the person
holds a flight radiotelephone operator licence.
