QANTAS SALE ACT 1992 No. 196, 1992 - SECT 30

Saving-DPP Act
30.(1) Despite the DPP Act ceasing to apply to acts, omissions or proceedings
because of a terminating event, that Act continues to apply in relation to:

   (a)  acts or omissions that occurred before the terminating event; and

   (b)  the taking of civil remedies connected with or arising out of a
        prosecution that relates to acts or omissions referred to in paragraph
        (a).

(2) For the purposes of this section, a terminating event occurs if Qantas or
a Qantas subsidiary ceases to be an authority of the Commonwealth for the
purposes of the DPP Act.

(3) In this section:

"DPP Act" means the Director of Public Prosecutions Act 1983.
