TRADE PRACTICES ACT 1974 No. 51, 1974 - SECT 160
Failure of witness to attend.
160. A person served, as prescribed, with a summons to appear as a witness
before the Tribunal or the Commission shall not, without reasonable excuse-
(a) fail to attend as required by the summons; or
(b) fail to appear and report himself from day to day unless excused, or
released from further attendance, by a member of the Tribunal or a
member of the Commission, as the case may be.
Penalty: $1,000 or imprisonment for 3 months.
