In this Chapter--
"insurer" , in relation to a person, means the insurer who insures the person
against the person's liability for damages in respect of a claim, whether or
not under a third-party policy, and includes--
(a) the Nominal Defendant, and
(b) where a claim is handled on behalf of an insurer by another insurer, the other insurer.
(a) medical treatment, or
(b) dental treatment, or
(c) the provision of rehabilitation services, or
(d) the provision of attendant care services, or
(e) the provision, replacement or repair of artificial members, eyes or teeth, crutches or other aids or spectacle glasses,whether or not at a hospital.
