CRIMES (ADMINISTRATION OF SENTENCES) REGULATION 2014 - REG 38
Restriction on work that civil inmates and unconvicted inmates may be required to perform
38 Restriction on work that civil inmates and unconvicted inmates may be
required to perform
(1) Civil inmates and unconvicted inmates are not to be required to work
otherwise than as provided by this clause.
(2) The governor of a correctional
centre may require a civil inmate or unconvicted inmate to ensure that any
yard or other section of the correctional centre that he or she uses is kept
clean.
(3) A civil inmate or unconvicted inmate must comply with any
requirement under this clause. Note : Failure by an inmate to comply with this
subclause is a correctional centre offence.
