Filing of interstate orders
232 Filing of interstate orders
(1) An appropriate person may file in the Supreme Court a sealed copy of a
relevant order.
(2) Also, an appropriate person may file in the Supreme Court
a sealed copy of an amendment made to a relevant order, whether the amendment
was made before or after the filing of the relevant order.
(3) If a relevant
order is filed under subsection (1) , an amendment made to the order has no
effect under this Act until it is filed.
(4) The Supreme Court may refuse to
file a relevant order to the extent that the order would not, on filing, be
capable of enforcement in Queensland.
(5) In this section—
"appropriate person" , for filing a relevant order, means— (a) the applicant
for the order; or
(b) the Attorney-General; or
(c) a person prescribed under
a regulation as an appropriate person for this section.
