281D Amount of expenditure cap—independent candidate

(1) The
"expenditure cap" for an independent candidate for a general election or by-election is $87,000.

(2) However, if the amount of the expenditure cap mentioned in subsection (1) has been adjusted under section 281F , then the
"expenditure cap" for an independent candidate, for a general election or by-election, is the amount most recently published as the expenditure cap by the commission under section 281F (3) .
